Pay Scale Details
Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹78,450/-p.m. in the pay scale of ₹78450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)- 141600 (16years) applicable to Officers in Grade ‘B’ and they will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, House Rent Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) are ₹1,50,374/- (approximately). The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.
Post Wise Qualification
Grade B (General) : Graduate in Any Subject (60% Marks), (For SC/ ST/ PH : 50% Marks). Grade B (DEPR) : Master Degree in Economics / PGDM / MBA Finance (55% Marks), (For SC / ST / PH : 50% Marks). Grade B (General) Phase-I Exam Pattern
The Prelims Exam Pattern of the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 includes 200 questions for 200 marks from the subjects including General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The time duration of the exam is 2 hours. Separate time will be allotted for each portion (subject) of the exam.
Grade B (General) Phase-II Exam Pattern
Paper-I (Economics and Social Issues) : RBI Grade B Mains Paper-I includes the subject of Economics and Social Issues (50% Objective and 50% Subjective). The time duration of the objective exam is 30 minutes and the time duration of the subjective exam is 90 minutes. There are a total of 100 marks (50 each) for the objective and subjective exam. Paper II (English- Written Skills) : The paper-II of the RBI Grade B Mains exam consists of a descriptive paper of 100 marks. The paper is to test the English writing skills of the candidates. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes. Paper-III (General Finance and Management) : The Paper-III is 50% Objective and 50% Subjective. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes and the total marks of the exam are 100 (50 for each objective and subjective).
